Yelena and Eugene’s Wedding

At the beginning of September I photographed Yelena and Eugene’s Wedding in Seattle, WA. The weather was great, which made it easy to capture the wedding on camera. Based on my previous experience, I’d say the ceremony was traditionally Russian, with many customs and practices pertaining to the Russian culture. The couple was enjoyable to photograph and very laid-back. All the guests were warm and welcoming. The entertainment at the reception was fun to photograph as well. Members of the church and family sang traditional Russian songs to the bride and groom and there were many skits performed. Here are a few shots from that day:

Arezoo & Mahnoush’s Wedding

Hey guys,

I’m back with yet another BLOG post. This time I got the chance to capture Arezoo and Mahnoush’s Wedding. It was my longest wedding so far; I’ve been there all day up until one o’clock in the morning! The ceremony was unique and definitely a new experience for me. The bride and groom were very happy—smiling in almost every picture J Everyone listened to great music and danced all evening thanks to an awesome DJ. I really enjoyed photographing this wedding as well as meeting many of the guests and the bridal party, who were all very nice.

Jeansy and Ramil’s Engagement Shoot

Several weeks ago I photographed Jeansy and Ramil’s Engagement. The shoot took place at the Pike’s Place Market- a unique, full of energy, fast-pace location. We had a lot of fun that day as we took pictures in front of various Souvenir and Antique Shops and tried to capture the Market itself in the background. The evening weather was delightful making the shoot simple and enjoyable. The couple was nice, funny and easy to photograph. The pictures are below. Enjoy!

Disciples Conference

This past weekend my church hosted a youth Conference called the “Disciples Conference.” It is the second year our church has been involved in this event and it really has been a blessing for everyone who attended. Around 400 people were present, a lot of them guests from other local churches as well as churches from other States. We had a few guest speakers and two pastors who spread God’s word to the gathered youth. Overall, the Conference was a success and an ideal opportunity for young people to receive Biblical knowledge, hear about various life experiences, and to become closer to God. I tried to capture all that was happening with my camera. I hope the pictures below will give you a better sense of the fellowship atmosphere and what it felt like to be a part of it.
